Update

Hi all,

Thought you might all be wondering if we are still alive -yes we are! Big thanks to Alice for the reminder to update this page.

We are both so looking forward to getting to England. Adam can't wait to see friends and family again (a lot to catch up on from the last 4 years!). I can't wait to meet everyone, despite the nerves that already have me in cold sweats! ha ha, they aren't quite that bad! I think when the countdown gets to hours instead of days I'll start to feel the anxiety levels increase, nothing that a few sedatives wont fix! The silly thing is that I know I'll be fine.

Nothing much happening other than organising travel insurance, suitcases etc. Just working and trying to figure out how to get some more money in the savings account before we go in a little under 6 weeks. I found that our bank (ASB) was a total rip-off when it came to travel insurance, I fully recommend when you are looking at travel insurance that you research and use Google. More often than not, you will get a far better deal than your bank/insurance company can offer.

Adam is off to an oral surgeon next week to get his other front tooth looked at, apparently he needs surgery. Good timing and bad timing I suppose. Good because we have the money at the moment, and not so good because that's our England money! Oh well.....the credit card company are going to love us when we get back! Just imagine how much they are going to make out of us.

I'm loving the new job and got my certificate from the poly tech last week. I passed my papers with an A and an A+ so definitely a fully fledged nerd, just need the pocket protectors now! ha ha ha. Adam is hating work but holding out until we get back from England, no point going for any other jobs at the moment when he'll need a month of straight away.
