Another A+ has come through for the the 2nd assignment! Really pleased with myself. Just have 1 more semester to go and the Certificate in Web Design is done! Cant wait, might extend it by doing 4 more semesters and get a Diploma in Knowledge and Emerging Technologies. Although...I might be sick of it all by the time I've finished the next paper!

good news on the school front. Student loan people wont give me any money for fees ,I have asked the tax man if we can pay less this month and make it up in April - and they were surprisingly obliging. Should get everything finalised on Thursday and get started on the paper next week. Still ahve 1 assignment left to complete on the current paper. So will be a busy girl for the next 2 weeks. Still not heard anything back about the last assignment, really hoping to know this week, I desperately want to be put out of my misery!
Went to Garden Cove (as seen in picture.), Waiheke with Mum & Dad on Saturday for the afternoon, got a shocker sunburn on my back, knees, shoulders and the backs of my knees! We went snorkelling, saw Parore fish, a school of Mullet, some starfish and a 1 metre across Stingray!! AWESOME!!
Sunday we bought an exercycle (stationary bike) and Adam put that together. So pleased we cancelled the gym membership...the bike will have paid for itself within 2 months and we will have an extra $160/month to put towards England. Gosh we are good. Somehow on Sunday we ended up at the pub and were hungover on yesterday morning without having spent a single cent! Now, if only we could sort that out every time we went to the pub!

Nearing the end of the first semester of my course with assignment 2 due on the 5th and the final assignment due 26th Feb. New semester starts 19th Feb so theres a little bit of an overlap which might be busy..not sure if the student loan will go thru in time though so may end up havng to put off completing the course until semester 2 this year. Unfortunately the tax man needs to be paid for the next 2 months and we wont be able to pay fees if the student loan doesnt come through. Nevermind - should find out next week about that. If I need to have a break I can spend some time improving my skills anyway so not all is lost.
Trip to England in scheduled for around mid september (we're finally coming Alice!). Im so looking forward to meeting all of Adams family, will be a little nerve-wracking but i'll probably be so jet-lagged from the trip that I wont have the energy to be nervous! Have already told Adam that I'd love to get to Scotland aswell, even if its just for a night as all of the people that have been said it is wonderful and so like NZ. (kind of weird that - you go somewhere else to see something different but you still want to see things that remind you of home!).
